Position Overview
The Account Manager (Risk Advisor) is a sales-driven, in-office role focused on growing the agency by converting leads into long-term customer relationships. This position works directly with clients to assess risk, educate them on coverage options, and provide customized insurance solutions in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and follow up on leads to schedule appointments and close new business
  • Conduct needs-based conversations to assess customer risks and recommend appropriate coverage
  • Convert prospects into long-term clients through consultative, relationship-based sales
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
  • Collaborate with team members on marketing and sales initiatives
  • Deliver exceptional customer service before and after the sale
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses within a short time (training provided)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sales-oriented mindset with comfort working toward goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, in-office environment
  • Proficiency with computers, CRMs, and Windows-based systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior insurance or financial services sales experience
  • Experience meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Customer service or relationship-management background
